Now here are just a few facts you might not know about the month of March: March's birthstone is aquamarine, which symbolizes faithfulness, courage, and friendship. As legend goes, sailors would wear aquamarine to keep them safe at sea and to prevent seasickness. February's birth flower is the daffodil. The daffodil is one of the first flowers to emerge in the spring; therefore it is a symbol of rebirth. Known for its trumpet shape, daffodils bulbs are easily planted in September through October and bloom in colors of yellow, white, and orange during the marvelous month of March!
